The proposed project is aimed at a comprehensive study of the documentation for the registration of ownership relations in connection with administrative and administrative units. Chronologically it is defined by the period from the first half of the 17th century to the 1920s, spatially by the historical country Bohemia, and in a second more detailed level it will process model territories in southern and northern Bohemia. The output of the project will be partial expert studies, a methodology for transferring information from sources into the form of a geospatial data base and a complex web portal, which, in addition to the necessary lexical component for the presentation of research results, will use modern methods of statistical evaluation of collected data with subsequent processing using geographic information systems and cartographic visualization. One of the main benefits of the proposed project is the implementation of a versatile environment for searching and synthesizing data on patrimonial administration, cadastral territories, land use and hierarchy of administrative and administrative units with the principle possibility of assigning an object to an administrative unit and units of patrimonial administration in different periods, including links to the bibliography to individual units or regions, objects, periods. This tool is lacking in a comprehensive form in the Czech environment and represents a basic aid for archival and library workplaces, which will facilitate a comprehensive insight into the addressed segment of modern history. This solution responds to a strong demand for a similar tool among memory and library workplaces and partly builds on the activities of individuals who have already undertaken in the past to design a similar solution, usually by independent erudite researchers. It uses modern methods of data collection, storage and analysis as well as easy and user-friendly visualization in the form of cartographic outputs.
